[animehaven] now joint with [anime-keep], [orz] started season 2 first, but now [AH & Keep] also do season 2. |
| Aria - the Animation / the Natural | 13+26 TV 2005-2006 | fantasy, setting (romance?, not really). Totally nothing happens in this anime, it's "about people". I loved season 1, but haven't gotten around to watch season 2 (the natural) yet. [CrystalNova] for season 1, [CristalNova] and [Hikari no Kiseki] both do S2 and i like [HnK] more (they are basicly about the same, but CN sticks to these large files while not providing better video quality). |

(it seems by now DVDs are available, at least in the USA, but the VCD restoration qualy is quite high, definitly higher than Lunars video and most likely better than what i could get out of a R2 PAL DVD as those usually suck Q-wise) |

| Zipang | 26 TV 2004 | a "what if" pseudo-historical war story with great love for details and unusual but refreshing art. adult oriented (not because of sex or gore, but just the "mindset"). . IMO a total winner, one of the very "best" anime i ever saw. [digital panic] completed subbing it now after a long time of sporadic releases (they put great effort into background research!) |
