[Menu Button Skin]

Padding top/bottom: ✔ affects also padding left/right!
Padding left/right: ✔
Margin top: ✔ minishes the area around the button/text and minishes the icon at the left!
Margin bottom: ✔ but uses less than the specified value!
Margin left: ✔ but affects only the space between the left toolbar border and the first button/text!
Margin right: ✔

If no section, Info-Version 2 and

Note 1: bear in mind that the settings here affects also the caption buttons at the right if Tools→ Preferences→ Advanced→ Tabs→ Additional tab options→ `Show close button on each tab` disabled: Caption button skin, Caption close button skin, Caption minimize button skin and Caption restore button skin as well as at the left the icon `Window Document Icon` from the section [Images]

Note 3: fiddling around with the ratio between Padding top/bottom and Margin top/bottom helps. Also if you define the `Window document icon` in [Boxes] instead of [Images] the result can be better (no minished icon then), but; if someone changes the general font-size in the OS, then the result is again unforeseeable! Here two examples:

The next screenshot displays the menubuttons with the same settings as in the above examples, but the `Window document icon` defined in [Boxes] instead of [Images]:

Bear in mind, that the vertical position of the buttons depends also on the general fontsize from the OS - the examples are made with 125% font size in Windows 7.
