• Version: at least since 9.0 in skin.ini, at least since 9.0 implemented
• Visible: eg in the Appearance→ Buttons→ Search (edit searchfields with icon), eg quick download in the transfers panel or in mail compose headers To, Cc, Bcc, Subject (editfields without icon), and editfields in web pages

  Please note that clones or cloned skins are not mentioned as related in this guide!

• Edit searchfields with icon:
  Padding top/bottom: ✔ shifts the icon and text, top and bottom together minishes the icon
  Padding left: ✔ shifts the icon and text separately!
  Padding right: ✔
• Editfields without icon:
  Padding top/bottom: ✔ shifts the text
  Padding left: ✔ shifts the text
  Padding right: ✔
• Editfields in web pages:
  Padding: - no effect
  The padding in the [Edit skin] affects several dropdown skins too, even if they are not cloned! Please see the note 2 downwards the page.
• Margin: ✔ margin right have no effect in panels left/right, no margin for editfields in webpages, no margin for the mail compose headers
