A lot of my past work dealt with pain and tried to provide a visual image and shape to an ineffable experience which, to a greater or lesser extent, impacts us all. Pain is present at our birth, recurs during our lifetime, physically and emotionally, and for many of us will accompany death. Pain comes in many forms
