OER Cyberdon
Damn, I love this one. But you always love the stuff that was hardest to get the most. See, I bought my Cyberdon on eBay at a not-exactly-reasonable price, advertised as MIB. What I got was a completely trashed box missing the caps, the decals, one of the tail spike parts and the motor. Plus one of the body halves was broken. Needless to say, I was not amused. The seller, however, was curiously unavailable for comment, except for a questionable feedback entry. Thankfully though, I have cool friends. First Dominic Smith supplied the decals and caps, then Tom Schneider offered to buy another incomplete Cyberdon from me that I got on eBay just for the one last part (the tail spikes, which are still missing in these pictures because they were taken before that) I was still missing after buying a Stego just for the motor and the body half.
Anyway, I think it was all worth it in the end. Cyberdon is a beautiful Zoid with some of the best movement I've seen on windups. Plus it's a ridiculously rare model. Check out the pics and bask in his translucent purple glory. |
