Prelude to Terra
Broken Neighbourhood
Situation"This place was madness..... stay in the buildings and those terrorists burn you out while sleeping...... stay outside and you freeze instead" - Johnas De Crifton, Terran Hegemony Infantry
"No battle shall be waged in an urban area except under extreme circumstances. If the military objective of an assault lies in a city center, attacking troops must ensure that any hostile action taken causes the least possible amount of collateral damage. No attack may be made against any civilian target, for any reason."

Terran Hegemony
February 2nd, 2777
The Terran Hegemony continues to get weaker, moral plummets and crack lines begin to appear in all levels of government. Informants, saboteurs and spies are everywhere, easily infilitrating the crumbling Hegemony. Even the most elitist military units are not immune. Such agents were taking a high risk and so the Houses often had to save them from difficult situations. Not because their lives or information was worth the cost, but because in the labyrinthine world of intelligence operations leaving "loose ends" around can be fatal.
GAME SETUP
The operation should be launched on the planet Asta.
Tanks and Mechs deploy normally.
Infantry may assault drop anywhere in the city.
Infantry Squads are deployed at the hexes: 0301, 0701, 1101, 1501, 1901, 2301, 2701 and 3101.
These map edge infantry squads may NOT move or be shot at, although they may shoot themselves.
Tip 1: Deploy squads first to prevent mistakes.
Tip 2: Deploy anything assault droping last to prevent accidentally assault droping the wrong unit.
Tip 3: Laser squads and Laser platoons are not the same thing, do not confuse them!
Attacker
You may bring up to 8000 bv, no infantry.
Defender
A reinforced heavy tank lance and mixed mech lance have been spotted in the area. Also the city is well garrisoned with infantry.
Winning
The attacker wins if he can pick up the target person AND then bring him to the southern table edge. Declare victory when you moved the carrying unit there and the shooting phase is over. Do that before the end of turn 20 or the targetīs cover is blown and you loose. The defender may engage "/seeall" to confirm, that the attacker has won.
Picking up the Target Person
To pick up the agent go prone anywhere on the north edge, this mech is now carrying the agent.
The agent can only be transfered to another mech if the first mech is destroyed or ejected from, only attacker is allowed, the attacker may do this by going prone in the hex of the wreckage.
Note: It doesnīt matter if you go prone at the start, end or during a movement phase. If you do the latter, inform your opponent.
Ares Conventions
Both sides are following the Ares conventions in this battle. No building may be targeted for ignite or collapse unless there is a hostile unit in or on top of it.
