Prelude to Terra

Blowing in the Wind

With a dry, sore mouth did Master Seargent Yanik tell his soldiers to stop the digging. It was supposed to be a simple order, but it come more like a shout. They found his unit sooner than he expected. Damned Star League satellites. They could find an ant in the middle of all that sand faster than some guys tied their belts when found out with the wrong women on the wrong house...

Situation
A Laboratory of the Harsh Terrain Test Center
Sabik
Terran Hegemony
January 25th, 2777

The Great Houses didnīt find it fair at all that only the Star League and the Republican forces could have access to vastly superior equipment. As soon as the oportunity arised, "scavenger" regiments where deployed on major research points to retrieve as much material as possible. Some such groups had to work in the dark and many times flee from the enraged forces who guarded the region.

GAME SETUP

The operation should be launched on the planet Sabik.
Both players set their deployment positions to SOUTH.
The Defender must configure ALL his units but the Skulker to deploy Before Round 2, giving the attacking player one free round to move. The Skulker may NOT be attacked by the surprised enemy units on the first round.

Attacker
The player may bring a small group of up to four units totalling no more than 4000 Bv. Those units were scavenging the site and have got hold of a prototype mech. Now they must flee through the north passage with their prize. When it is clear that the player will be able to flee with his last unit from the field (being on the border and only needing to click Flee the next round, no chance to die after the last round of shooting), the player may then declare Victory, as long as at least two survive. Getting the Sabik mech out enables a bonus: the player may ask a Mod or Admin to add this unit NEW to the Hangar.

Defender
A recon and a battle lance are engaging pursuit. If they manage to bring down all but one mech of the attacking player they have also automatically won..
