Repairs
If the MekWars Server you´re playing at uses Repairs, all your units will keep their damage after battle, and need to be brought back into condition by yourself. There are two ways to do that: Bulk Repairs and Manual Repairs. Right click on an unit to choose between them. Choosing Repair All Units works like Bulk repair but for the whole hangar. Notice that the repair box is also where ammo can be fast reloaded.
To repair units you need to buy Techs first, on the menu Campaign - Personnel - Techs. Price varies from server to server. There is no limit or continued upkeep for Techs, you only pay them when they actually are working, so feel free to keep a lot on hand. If using parts repair, the repairs box also enables players to scrap or salvage the unit, thus gaining more parts to use on other units. Parts must also be bought on the Parts Black Market tab for techs to be able to work.

Bulk Repairs
Bulk Repair is the fast and dirty way to repair your units. Right clicking and selecting Bulk Repair brings up the Bulk Repair Dialog. Each section is listed on the left, with a checkbox next to each one. Sections to be repaired or not are chosen with these. The type of Tech is chosen on the dropdown boxes, the player must have techs of that level or MekWars will just try in vain to assign those to units. The base Roll can be adjusted, which is advisable (around 4-6 being good for cheap repairs). The estimated cost is shown by the side, it is rarely accurate and repairs cost actually way less than it shows, as it is an estimate, and may be higher or lower depending on success on the Repair Rolls.
In this example we have Armor, Structure, and System Damage. We adjust rolls and then click on the Start Repairs button. Lots of messages will show up in the Repair Status tab, as the Techs buy parts (if Parts Repairs are used) and attempt the repairs. Players may now just wait, or if they have enough Techs, attempt repairs on other units. Once the repairs are finished a player will see a Total Cost message in the Repair Status. This total does not include costs for parts.
Manual Repairs
By choosing the Repair Unit option, the manual repairs box open. While Bulk Repairs enabled you to assign techs by groups of parts, here you can assign them individually to each section, be it armor or a critical. The number of attempts to repair must also be raised to at least 1 for the Tech to start repairing an area. Green areas have no damage, yellow areas have armor damage and perhaps also damaged (*) or destroyed (#) criticals. Internal damage is shown as red. All internal damage on an area must be repaired before techs can be assigned to criticals like weapons and jump jets.
On the example above the Phoenix Hawk as damage on many areas, and a leg with internal damage and a broken Upper Leg Actuator. To repair it one would need first to go for the Armor tab and repair the internal damage on that leg. Then a tech could be assigned to the actuator and repair it. A dialog similar to this one would follow on the Repairs Tab:
Repairs have begun on the internal structure(RL) of your Phoenix Hawk PXH-1. At a Cost of 21cbs
Tech Roll Base: 8 Roll: 8
5 points of internal structure(RL) were repaired on your Phoenix Hawk PXH-1.
All internal structure(RL) has already been repaired.
Work has begun on the Upper Leg(RL) for your Phoenix Hawk PXH-1. At a Cost of 58cbs
Tech Roll Base: 5 Roll: 5
The Upper Leg(RL) of the Phoenix Hawk PXH-1 is now fully functional.

General Tips to Repairs
Here are some useful tips:
- Always have at least half a dozen techs on your hangar.
- Lower the rolls to 4s or 3s even to get costs down.
- If you like a server but hates repairs, use the Repair All Units or Bulk Repair and you shall barely notice the feature.
- If the server uses parts repairs, salvage mechs that you don´t want to repair, thus collecting their parts to help lower costs for repairs later.
- Some servers enable Reward Points to be used for cheap repairs on units. Some make of that even a basic usage of the feature, keep your eyes open to that option.
