Finding Games

There are two ways to find a game: by arranging one or by going active.

Arranged Games (Attacks from Reserve or AFR) - You ask in "Main Channel" if anyone wants to play. Usually people agree on a BV and which Operation they want to play. Most roll to decide who will be the attacker, or who decides who attacks. Attacks are then initiated through the menu Games - Attack From Reserve. Notice that some servers limit the kind of operations that people may do by arranging games as opposed to the other option: blinding.

Going Active (or Blinding) - By hitting the button on the bottom right you put your unit on the front linesa, i.e., you go active. After a given time, variable from server to server, you reach the frontlines. While going there you are prone to be attacked by players already active. As they donīt know who you are, except for your faction, that is why the attack is called "blind".

Going Active

You can then choose a planet, right click on it and pick one of the possible Operations for it.

Attacking

When you get attacked either by an AFR or while in Active Duty, a message in Main Channel (and sometimes a pop-up menu) asks which of your eligible armies will defend the attack. Only armies which are legal defenders and within BV Range for the operation will be shown. Click on the Army to accept the battle. If you take too long to accept, or you donīt, you and your faction may receive penalties, like the loss of components or influence.

Accepting Attack

Once you accept an attack, you will get an "Intel Report" showing Planet Name, Continent(map type), Conditions (night, hot) and your opponents army BV and perhaps composition (varies from server to server). Take a second to note these details as planetary conditions may have a big impact on the battle.
