finally i have a networking plugin i can get to work, thanks so much. very very early stage at teh moment, but i decided i was happy with the server part, and rather than keep reloading it, i would stick it on the server machine, and just mess with clients on this one. server machine doesnt like it, dont know why. its on windows 2000, maybe thats the problem. If you have any idea please let me know. many thanks Grinder

Thanks for reporting this andy. The download links are corrected and should work properly now. Reason was a filesystem change at my university.

I'm using Winsock Control in VB. But, to develope a code that can open a telnet session on any device in an InterNetwork through VB6, I'v found that the GetData function in objects of Winsock control(with Tcp/Udp) receives something "ÿýÿûÿûÿýÿý#ÿý$ÿý..". But the ReceiveString function in Objects of ActiveX Control doesn't yield anything like that and fulfils my requirement. As I'm not being able to find any good reason for such behaviour, can you kindly Explain the matter?
