“ He was propelled to the international stage at an early age participating in several concerts and festivals. notably he gave a concert in Carnegie Hall in 1986, in the Guild Hall Preston and Dudley Town Hall with the English Philharmonic Orchestra in 1987 and the Myra Hess Most Concert Chicago in 1997 as part of a tour of twelve concerts across the USA. From 1983 to 2000 he was invited regularly in Germany

by the well known concert agency “Hörtnagel”.

Antonio has won several prizes in International Competitions including 1st Prize in the Francisco Tárrega in Competition in 1982 (Spain) and 1st Prize in the XX international competition for composition “Andrés Segovia” in 2007 (Spain) with the work “Hommage à Frank Martin”.

His principal compositions are the String Quintet with guitar op.6 performed by the “Sine Nomine Quartet” and himself at the Schubertiade in Sion (Switzerland) in 2013, the Trio-Fantaisie op.7 for violin cello and guitar performed with David O’Doherty and Francesco Bartoletti, the Quintet with flute op.11 no. 2, “Seguida”op.9 for Orchestra and the Concerto op.10 for Pan Flute and Orchestra performed in 2012 by Michel Tirabosco with the St.Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra in the “Bolshoi Zal”.

Sa disposition naturelle alliée à une brillante technique et un sincère discours musical séduit largement le public. Son large programme intègre des œuvres du répertoire ségovien, un solide intérêt pour la musique de chambre, ainsi que des styles allant de la musique moderne à la musique folklorique.
